I suggested Arncliffe Cote (the BW), Mastiles Lane and mebbe Threshfield Moor with Stockdale Lane to finish, which is all further east…

it depends. I’d prefer to split off left and do Threshfield Moor & Winterburn Res followed by the climb to Weets and Smearbottoms Lane back onto Mastiles, but I’m not picking the route…
