    Hi all,

Looking for some packaging to ship something approx 120cm x 30cm x 30cm. We have previously used:

    – Flight case (too heavy)

    – Regular plastic storage box (too fragile, not secure)

    – Cardboard box (cardboard gets damaged after repeat use, has to be taped up each time – gets tatty quickly)

Looking for something that can be used repeatedly, closed up securely without miles of tape, a self adhesive shipping label can be affixed to, and isn’t too heavy. Only need 3 of these, so not enough to justify something custom I don’t think.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Sounds like what you need is lightweight crate. There’s a reason they used to be so popular – easy to make in a specific size, not overly heavy, reusable.

    Corrugated plastic “cardboard” boxes.

As used by labs everywhere to cart about samples.

Edit. Correx was the name escaping me.

Or a proper plastic crate with the lids that interlock.
