has anyone managed to upgrade a stumpjumper shock to an rp23 or similar? the wierd ass fork arrangement at the lower end means you can’t just buy a normal rp23 and throw it on.

I know mine (2009) is a standard set up but a non standard length.

It’s only the mounting point on the tube that’s different. If you want an RP23 speak to Mojo, I’m sure they’ll be able to sort you out. Fox make the OEM shock, so I’m sure they’ll have special Stumpy tubes in stock somewhere.

Mojo was gonna build one up for me, they do a custom build/tune with the Specialized cleavice. I didn’t bother in the end but when funds allow I may get them to build up a 2013 RP23.
