Hey all, I have a 2016 stumpjumper expert 650b and noticed that the shock has a gap between the linkage and the shock stanchion as shown in the image below.
I have taken the linkage off cleaned and checked the bolt is not bent and everything is fine and clean.

Has anyone had any experience with this or know what it may be as it’s really puzzling me?

    Many thanks!

Does it have some kind of washer/flip chip type thing in there?
Could be an issue with that?

But, why is it casing a problem?

They have a locator spacer, but it’s quite solid and can’t really be fitted wrong.

Even though you say the bolt isn’t bent, have you tried another ?

The part is £75 to replace by the way.
