Most will, 1200 miles in a year is not a lot for someone that cycles.

My 2018 was very similar to yours and I only do short distances although I do cycle every Saturday and Sunday and on holiday days.

It’s not a lot if you road ride…

If I look at hours 161 hours would be nearer 2000 miles

Terrible. Less than 500 miles and pretty much zero since July. I have completely renovated my house though.

30 surfs this year though which is the most in a while.

Was hoping to get out tomorrow but feeling rough so that might be that.

3,309mi , all on off-road rides, no commuting
    390,000 ft of climbing.

Made both my targets, including the ‘1,000ft of climbing per day’, which I’m happy with.

7241 miles (including commutes which is about 2500 miles out of that). Vast majority on road and CX bike, only a couple of MTB rides this year.

Doesn’t include indoor velodrome at Manchester though which I reckon is another 300 miles or so (based on number of sessions ridden there and average mileage per session).

    488,000ft climbing.

1016 miles 95k feet and 114 hours all off road (well apart from maybe 1 or 2% of it to link up off road sections).

For me I’m pretty happy with that, though hoping to do more next year.

    Of course, there’s always tomorrow!!

Don’t agree with that, 1200 miles, the majority off road, is quite alot. More revealing is the hour’s put in. I managed 135 hrs which i consider a fair amount, albeit I didn’t ride At all Jan till March. That equates to 2000 miles across all my bikes.

If you don’t commute and actually have a life then 160 hours on a bike is quite alot.

Mainly local mtb this year as no 3 peaks so not much crossbike and not been on a road bike since june:

    2,428.5 mi

    257h 14m

    289,058 ft

    Rides 153

7 koms (lost more than that this year)

Trying to fit everything in when you work long hours 5 days a week & have a load of other stuff going on is a bit of a challenge!

    Distance: 10,179.5 km
    Time: 630h 40m
    Elev Gain: 141,697 m

Of that distance, 16% was on the road bike, another 16% commuting, 33% on the hardtail, 20% on the FS, 10% on the singlespeed with the remainder on the fat bike. I don’t know how the percentages would be for time or elevation. Looking at the year on Veloviewer there are four months where I rode less than one day in three.

I did at least one 100km ride, completed the Strava climbing challenge and the Bivy a month challenge each month.

Felt like I should have done more but for most of the year I’ve felt lethargic probably caused by overtraining for a couple of years. Today’s ride was the first for a long while where I felt I’d a lot of energy and zip.

    187 hours -mostly since August.

2800 km (my lowest year for a long time)

Although I’ve done 450km in 45hrs and climbed 4500m running as an alternative.

    Again since August.

I’m happy. Shed 12kg of working abroad weight in 3 months and early indications of 6 months of mostly Z2 work paying off. Nearly time to build up the interval work session lengths

MTB 2528 km 62315 m climb (including tomorrow’s little pootle)
    Road 3835 km 49560 m climb

    Quite good for me

If I had cycled every single day of the year I would have spent 57 minutes 30 seconds cycling 9.4 miles to do so each time.

    210 rides for me – 265hrs, 6,440 km.

Then some runs, 91, 55 hrs and 707kms

I’m happy enough with that, although a lot of the miles are commute miles, I still enjoy them!

Phone bust in November but up till then 3500km, 161hrs, 45000m climbing. Majority commuting but at least an hour a week mtb Sunday morning razz. Moved house, done a load of work on it so down on fun miles this year, going for 5000km this year aiming at a few races too.

3025 miles, 206 hours, 263 rides – vast majority road, vast majority of that commuting – was just chuffed to get over the 3k tbh, a good few hundred down on last year but with a toddler running around it could have been a lot less

    314 days active.
    Just over 200,000 ft climbing.
345 hours total activity, 203 on the bike, 96 running, the rest on skis or in the gym.
4,222 miles total, 3,177 on the bike, 705 running, the rest on skis.

And you can likely add a couple more hours of running to that tomorrow.
Not unhappy overall, would have liked to be nearer 5k miles but running takes its toll on the total mileage.

    4300 miles
    355,000ft
And exactly 100 rides. A lot of road but also a lot of great trails in Australia and California.

Reckon I’ll aim for more off-road miles next year if I can get some time off booked in the right places at the right times.

Mines shocking but I jacked in logging rides as it emphasized how little I was doing, just had a quick look at my mates, he became an obsessive nearly 50 year old as I lost interest. 260 rides 550 hrs just under 10000 miles ,all road bar 14 mile MTB with me last week, he works full time commutes to work 5 mile round trip every day which never gets logged rides turbo and rollers again not logged and always works overtime. How his Mrs puts up I will never know, but it obviously works for them.

I keep forgetting or not bothering to record rides.

I’m more impressed by my running – my phone didn’t work for about half the years running, so I’m doubling by 344km and 6244m elevation run and recorded on Strava. Not bad for a tubby non-runner.
