AWS S3 down for one of their East coast DCs.
“We’ve identified the issue as high error rates with S3 in US-EAST-1, which is also impacting applications and services dependent on S3. We are actively working on remediating the issue”
Though given the amount of sites down, either they have issues with more than one region or everyone deploys in the same place.Posted 2 years agopiedi di formaggioMember
Kinda scary that a major AWS outage has crippled so much of the internet, something that was intended from inception to be a distributed model, this avoiding mass outages.
The charts on the Strava stays page tell a pretty damning story! http://status.strava.com

Weirdishly, the ride I uploaded to Garmin Connect last night still hasn’t appeared on Strava, but this mornings commute synch’d immediately across.
Scotroutes’s comment above is now giving me a bit of existential angst. Maybe I didn’t actually go out on the bike last night. Maybe I don’t even exist.Posted 2 years ago
