Cox’s Yard, right by the River… Central location, you’ll be able to please your 5yr old whilst not upsetting those with more discerning tastes, the ducks and the swans will more than likely keep said 5yr old entertained whilst you’re there… 👍🏻

Good shout on Coxs yard. You can also eat on the opposite side of the river at the Boathouse.

I used to quite like the One Elm heading out towards the Birmingham road.

They had nice food and a cute little walled garden.
