1st off, my fox rp23 boost valve shock has just started making a very noisy squelching, sucking noise; it also seems to have gone firmer than before. Is it warranty time?

2ndly my new ASR 7, 3rd ride out, has now making a VERY loud squeaking/creaking noise. It’s definitely from the shock & carbon swing link area & only when the suspension is moving minimally like the tiny bit of pedal bob I’m getting. All mounting bolts are correctly torqued. I’m erring toward lack of lube (somewhere), because the last ride was a very wet one, & I’m wondering if I’ve washed grease out of somewhere.

Anyone any ideas on either problems

Shock symptoms sound similar to the nitrogen charge having leaked into the damping oil, not a diy job.

My RP3 has always made that noise… maybe you have just broken it in! btw, the rp3 works fine.

Fannying around with the RP23 platform damping – its least noisy when damping off, and correspondingly noisier on each damping level (1,2, or 3). Any ideas?
