  • Strange one Boardman pro 29er forks stanchions?

    I’m looking at loads of nice secondhand pro 29er’s and some have black stanchions and some have light gold stanchions the current 2018 model has light gold any reason why they changed from the black stanchions forks? Because I think they look better.

    I’m guessing they fit the oem forks that for the budget that particular year. So are at the mercy of the fork producer/seller to a degree.

    IT will be to do with price and bulk orders. My 2014 FS Pro came with Guide RS brakes – which are better than specced.
