Well you’ve either got a sporty tramp, a deviant, or a hungry dog in your vicinity. Be afraid.

    Foxes definately.

We we’re woken up at dawn on a Danish campsite by the sound of someone pinging our tent flysheet. I shouted out and opened up thinking we we’re being robbed, only to find my trainers had been pulled outside.

Mystified, we packed up and told the lady we thought she had a tent burglar. She laughed and explained it was a foot fetishist fox that was renowned for it.

After 3 years, you probably needed a new pair anyway.

i have heard that running/training shoes (not trainers that you go to the shops in) should be replaced once a year!!

This happened to me many years ago.
The next day I saw an old guy who lived a few doors away walking past in a pair of Adidas running shoes! Didnt have the heart to ask for them back.
