If anyone's at a loose end tomorrow and wants to support a great cause and see the UK's best BMX riders throw down at what are arguably the best trails in the UK then head over to Aliano's trails @ Upton Upon Severn for the 2009 Murray Jam fundraiser. Tomorrow will also host the final round of Kye Forte's Oakley National Trail Champs comp and promises a day not to be missed.

For those of you who don’t know, Stephen was a British pro BMX rider who moved over to America in the late 90's to turn pro. In the midst of doing a double back-flip while competing at the Dew Actions Sports Tour, in Baltimore, Maryland on June 22 2007, Stephen suffered a catastrophic accident that left him a quadriplegic. The strength and courage Stephen has displayed since his accident has been nothing short of courageous, as has the support of the Action Sports industry and community which has helped support Stephen and his two young boys. Stephen relies heavily on fundraising for his rehab due to the shitty US health system and some smallprint in his insurance policy which only covers him for 90 days of care a year – he needs 365 and has to pay for the 275 days by any means necessary!

Regardless of what kind of riding you're into I think most cyclists will appreciate what a great cause this great is. Head down tomorrow and support Stephen if you can!
