Bonkers plan to cut down a 300 year old Scots pine tree, and memorial bench, to make way for an Astroturf pitch…on a site that has many acres and other bits could be used.
It is even causing arguments in the school: PE claim the outside space is all theirs, lots of other departments that use the tree and grounds for learning disagree…

That’s a beautiful tree and the grassy bit looks bang tidy. Memorial for kids? If it was a memorial created by man for these kids would they dare smash it down?
