How much effect does stem rise have on position?

I am just looking at the Nukeproof stems and the Warhead is 5 degree rise compared to the Zero stem (0 degree).

Just wondering what effect one will have over the other?

Only Smarties (and this online tool) have the answers

eg: assuming 68deg head angle and 70mm stem length and same model but just 0deg vs 5deg means…the 5deg one puts the bars 6mm higher, and 2mm closer horizontally

oh dear! well the answer to your question (for shorts stems) is normally ‘very little’ but it depends if you’re trying to make/get to a specific position.

Just done it from my phone – thank you for the link!

Stem is 50mm, with 68.8 angle.

0 degree gives 1mm more reach and 4mm lower. Just done it from my phone – thank you for the link!
