Just wondering if anyone can recommend a steerer expander which will fit a carbon fork with a 20mm internal diameter?

The Lifeline one looks great and is very cheap at something like £7 but it’s for 22-25.4 or so it says – anything else around?

Deda used to make a ~20mm Spadca (they also make a version for 1 1/8 so check this)

Just a very thick tapered steerer tube – it’s a BMX so could have a few forces put through it. I’ve measured the inner at 20-20.5mm give or take so the Spadca would be great but haven’t seen one on line yet.

Did anyone ever make 1″ steerer? I thought the aheadset standard started at 1-1/8″!

Yep, early 1990s? Some on ebay too…
…maybe a stockist will have a bung?

You could get full CF monocoque fork with 1″ steerer back then from a few manufacturers, they seem to be a bit thin on the ground now, hopefully a few bungs exist still
