Laddo is riding this year, we’ve only ever been up there to watch previously. Unfortunately we’re not going to get up before race day so was wondering if he’ll manage to get a few practice runs in before the start?

Usually two. The guys at the top mark your race number board.

Two runs is easily enough to learn the track.

If you get their early enough you can track walk before practice starts.

Definitely get there to walk the track before, you can do this friday afternoon on saturday until practice starts at 8.45 ish, it helps a lot. You have to do 2 practice runs from the start and these are marked on your board (this is a BC rule). It is possible to do quite a bit more depending on timing or drop in to hit a lower or certain section etc.

Looked like he was enjoying himself. Hope you had a good time despite the cold.
