    I came across my Dads copy of the Newnes Pictorial Knowledge Vol5 aand in the back is a rather nice fold out model of a GWR Castle Class loco with all the parts numbered and identified, expect the holigan has rippec the last page and the missing numbers unidentified.

    So, what are all the bits 103 onwards ?

    Or better still, anyone got a photo of the missing page.

    Wow.How do you know this stuff ?

    Just have a bit of an interest in the mechanics of them. They’re utterly
    fascinating. They’re all quite similar in their operation

    I drive these on a daily basis…but they’re nowhere near as complicated.
