Starbucks clearly missing a trick here.
teadrinker is mad that they were charged 20p for milk.
Seems to me that Eva just pressed the buttons for americano + milk to get to £2.40 rather than pressing the white coffee button. Would be even more amusing if a white coffee is actually £2.60 and Eva was trying to be nice 🙂
I’d write to my MP if I could only see through this cloud of rage.Posted 4 years ago
Don’t blame Eva, tom – she’s just a poor unknowing cog in the evil capitalist machine, with no option but to serve mostly outraged tea and coffee drinkers in The Tokenhouse, Moorgate to feed her bottomless philosophy habit.
No, tom, blame the Tokenhouse. It must burn for this. 👿Posted 4 years ago
*Ponders wandering over this evening to see if Eva’s working there tonight*
She’s not worth the wander 😉 (in my humble opinion)
I had no problem with the 20p – just never seen it done before. Couldn’t understand why they didn’t just charge £2.40 in the first place. I can’t imagine going into Starbucks/Costa etc and then being charged extra for milk?
The reference to Ryanair was any excuse to charge for something extra.Posted 4 years ago
