Currently running Force CX1 11spd drop bar brake /shifter with Apex clutch rear mech, 1x with 11-40t cassette. I’d like to try a mech without a clutch (or one with adjustable clutch)but cant work whats available / compatible, regarding shift ratios for anything non-clutch but with a med/long cage.
The SRAM guide things dont seem to show what I’m after.

Why do you want one without a clutch?

    (Just curious).

Depending on version you can loosen / tighten sram clutch with a large torx bit

Its really grindy in the wet grit I often ride in, normal mech would be less so.

    Why less grindy?

Not sure what else is available but I sometimes wonder if the extra tension of the clutch mech increases drag in the drive chain. It is usually on a draggy climb when I start wondering this, so it could be just gravity messing with my head.
