New pro bleed kit has this in it.  made of metal.  Surprisingly heavy.

What is it? didnt’ come in the previous set I had (as far as I can remember).

It’s a 1/4” drive crows foot wrench for brake nipples

It allows you to get a torque wrench on the compression nut.

Yeah…used for rebuilding lever and hose connection/joining it all together.

If you do use it to torque the compression nut fit the torque wrench at 90° to the crows foot

In all seriousness if your struggling to identify the crows foot maybe get someone else to fit the brakes. Said tongue in cheek

Cool.  Useful to have one of those.  I’ve trimmed hoses on countless brakes over the years but always just did the torque of that nut by feel as didn’t have a tool.  (and I don’t seem to have another which means I’m pretty sure they didn’t used to include it in the ‘avid’ era pro bleed kit I had already)

Also odd that there was a chunky booklet in with the kit, that didn’t include any useful info at all.  Whereas that bleed manual is handy.
