Does anyone know if it’s possible to tweak it to get the clutch stronger? Posted 4 years ago roneMember Mine too, exactly. Not as persistent as my shimano xt mech clutch or my x01. Lost a chain several times on the x9 with xx1 crank. Never on the x01 or xt+ . Posted 4 years ago legendMember I take it the SRAM mechs can’t be adjusted in the same way Shimanos can be? Posted 4 years ago everyoneSubscriber Not that I’m aware of unfortunately. Posted 4 years ago DanWMember I think they can be adjusted although they aren’t really designed to be. Involves pulling them apart (obviously) but I can’t find the link quickly. It is more the fact that the springs are so weak that annoys me rather than the clutch aspect. Posted 4 years ago mikewsmithSubscriber about 9 months in and it still feels like it’s working fine, shifting like day 1 too. Posted 4 years ago trustySubscriber Theres an article on stripping the sram type 2 mechs on the bicycling Australia website. Doesn’t look the easiest of tasks.
