Can you run SRAM 11-Speed chains (PC-1130 for example) with Shimano XT M8000 11-Speed (11-46)?

    Seeing conflicting advice on t’web…

    Yes.
Well it’s been working fine for me for years.

You can, but Shimano cassettes shift better with Shimano chains.

I’ve run them with both, and cannot tell the difference. Shifting seems fine on either to me.

They’ll both be made to the same standardised tolerances so should work fine. The profiling of the plates may make them slightly quieter / smoother with profiling of their matched pair cassette / ring.
