Got an odd squeak on my front TRP Spyre brake – it happens when the pressure is initially applied but then goes under heavier braking. I’ve changed pads, rotors, tried re-aligning the calliper, all with no luck… any ideas?

Split the caliper and grease the cam mechanism. It is likely bone dry.

Had similar and what worked for me was to carefully undo the mounting bolts and brake cable so you are holding just the caliper in your hand. Turn it round so the cam is pointing upwards, then lash the whole lot rar in the bin.

Think I’ve found the issue – stripped it down to check for grease and it seems one of the bearings that pushes the callipers out is missing, so must have been toeing in slightly when applying pressure.
