You can adjust both sides with a 3mm allen key, and you can adjust for wear with either those piston adjusters or the cable barrel.

Pretty knackered pads after 40 miles on a canal in rain and liquid grit!

In my (limited experience) they feel better if you adjust at the caliper.

Easier to adjust midride using the cable though.

That’s certainly what I do, YMMV.

just done them; its a bit of both.
However I did read you adjust the pads from one side; however I have done both and seems really good. Pads in good condition; just needed to get the canal path out of them.

I think TRP recommend adjusting at the caliper first as this maintains the full range of motion.

I replaced my original pads a couple of weeks ago:

1. remove wheel
2. wind out both pistons
3. replace pad
4. put wheel back in
5. centre rotor – basically loosen caliper mounting then wind in the pistons so that they clamp the rotor in the central position.
6. tighten up caliper mounting in this position
7. back off pistons just enough that the rotor can turn freely.

They do specify that the pads are for road use only. But you can easily fit suitable mtb pads – pretty sure they’re a Shimano pattern.

Mine haven’t worn out yet despite mainly offroad use, so I haven’t needed to check that.

The pads are compatible with the Shimano M525 Deore pad, easy to get hold of.

Yep. Though I should point out the EBC sintered pads I tried squealed like banshees in the wet. The Swissstop organics I’m using now are better, though not perfect.
