Wouldn’t surprise me if a few more races go this way. All the big names watching each other & someone else takes a punt & making it stick.

Hmm seems to be off/probably off/maybe off. Though I’m betting off.

    As you say – cock.

Thought this was a cyclocross race link but is sad, that is one of the real joys of the classics.

What a brilliant race this (E3) is so far. Exactly why I love the Classics.

Yep. dqs can really play with the numbers. Super racing

perhaps MvdP should have eased up once they caught Asgreen the first time and let WvA get back on.

seems trek have withdrawn from Gent-Wevelgem, and it’s going to be windy. Difficult to see past another DQS win… don’t think WVA has the team to compete.

Bora Hansgrohe not racing either, half their squad have been quarantined by a doctor. Rules them out of Dwars Door Vlaanderen too

I’ve seen a few previews suggesting many teams being happy to settle for a bunch sprint at the end. However given the outcome of that will almost certainly be a win for Sam Bennet and DQS I think attacks are going to have to come from further out. Could be an interesting afternoon.

Have to say I’m really liking Adam Blythe on the commentary team this season. Knows his stuff and also a good laugh, especially when he’s on with Dan Lloyd.

it’s nice not having a “dedicated” commentator…. I like the conversational pundit only style.

WvA by far the strongest rider out there today – putting the hurt on everyone up the Kemmelberg and then winning the sprint. He’ll have a few folks worried for next weekend.

it was clever though as it was not enough to drop his team mate…. fabulous racing again. We are really being spoilt so far this year!

    it’s a sobering race.

Indeed. Some of the places the race passed by put a lot of things into perspective.
