everyone that attended  or supported and gave up their time to help me get this event done! Probably aged a few more years over the weekend but to see the grins on everyones faces was immense, struck lucky again with the weather as it peed it down last night!

Thanks for a fantastic weekend Rich, I had a squint around the campsite for a bit of litter, but didn’t find much, I think its a testament to a great bunch of folk turning up, it will sell out next year for sure.

Managed to get out last night after the two marquees came down was nice to chill on a Bivi last night and reflect on the weekends shenanigans, feed back from the village has been ace so far so see you all next year.

Gavgas it sold out this year at 160 tickets but looking at the site we could get 200 on.

All costs covered and Cancer Research and Kendal Mountain Rescue going a fair few ££££££

A tour of the council estates followed by a 30 second run down the local single track 😃

I could only make it to the Saturday but it looked like everyone was having a finetime. Thanks Rich and family for putting on another excellent event – you must have called in a lot of favours as the site looked great with loads going on. Thanks also to the guys at Sonder/Alpkit for all their excellent advice and for lending me a Transmitter to demo when my rear mech died on the way onto site!… wasn’t intending to buy a new bike this year but it was a hoot to ride so I’m now saving up😀. Nice to meet Tom riding the Surly on the way back from Kentmere – good luck with setting up your event!.

Looks like we have the go ahead for next year! so same weekend last weekend in August

Just to confirm the SLBF19 will be the 30th of August to the 1st of September lots more companies wanting to attend with Little Rippers in Attendance. Tickets will go Live on the 1st of May
3 days Camping, Live Music,Quality food and beer, guided and none guided rides Little Rippers coaching, several GPX rides from Gravel to Enduro/Trail Bikes Demo Bikes and lots of Bike Porn.
Adult tickets £20 kids free
Day ticket including Saturday night £5, all money from the day tickets going to Kendal Mountain Rescue and Staveley Pump track Fund.

Ooh, I think I met those two young ladies (with the ice creams) on Sunday, on the Three Rivers Descent (Kentmere). Brilliant riders already!

The little one (now age 6) explained the line to me . . .
