We went down last week to check the course and with a rather wonky helmet cam made this preview video. I’ve cut lots of bits of us getting lost (bloody nature overgrowing the trails) but left in the best bits to make a 9 minute video (so you will need a cup of coffee).
Given the rain the previous day I thought it was pretty rideable – only a few push sections which with proper tires should be fine. The current heat should be drying it nicely but there will always be some dampness down by the ponds.
I thought it was a great course especially for Open riders – nice log downhill to start, climbs on fire road, nothing too scary.
