Got some VGC 2013 crosstrail 26″ wheels. I know how much Hopes are worth but no idea what Mavics fetch.

They’re worth whatever someone is prepared to pay.

There was a pair of older ones on ebay the otherweek with a Buy it now of £75.

Not checked back to see if they sold.

Are they the ones that are the same as Crossmax but with steel spokes not alu ones?

If so, £150-£200.

They are about £350 new I think – personally I have a set which I think are great, stronger than the Hope / Stans Crest combo which is the obvious alternative at the price and weight, and really simple tubeless setup with no drill holes in the rims. In good condition got to be £150-200 as previously mentioned, easily converted from QR to 15mm or 12mm rear as well.

I paid around £150 for a pair, over two classifieds/auctions and consider them great value at that. Might go toward the £200 as a pair, they are still a fine wheelset.
