    As above really. We’re hoping to be traveling up to the howgills tomorrow but was just wondering if it was rideable or not. If it isn’t we’ll probably head over to the lakes instead and do a low level route round there.

    Was out (walking) on Wild Boar Fell on Monday. Seriously Arctic on there but looking across there was much less snow on the Howgills. Winder looked totally clear but there was still snow lying at a high level on the Calf etc.

    Suspect the high level stuff will still be there but you should be fine lower down.

    Looking across from Farleton there is still a bit of snow but it didn’t look too bad to me. I’d probably risk it.
