Recently got a copy of sony vegas and have had some problems getting the rendering settings correct for video recorded on my gopro. The upload to youtube feature is easy enough but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work with HD video so have had to try a few other settings and i’ve not been particularly impressed with the results.
Just tried to render a video that was 5 minutes long – made up of clips that i guess added up to about 700mb in the raw footage…however the rendered video was about 30 gb when finished and that was without any sound either! There are so many render options and rather than going through them all by trial and error i was wondering what was working for others? Doesn’t need to be the best quality possible just a good compromise between video quality and file size will do!
