Went yesterday for the first time, absolutely loved it. All day lift ticket is 25 quid. Can't really help on the accommodation I'm afraid, I camped alongside Loch Laggan. Stayed in a nice B&B at Spean Bridge a few years ago with Mrs Tyred, think it was the Spean Lodge. That would be handy for Nevis.

Wee tip: if you go, and its wet, try not to lock your brakes on the timber stuff – it pings you off at a startling speed!

we were there two weeks ago and apart from the 'butt clenchingly terrifying' Gondola ride – was fantastic – even in the wet, theres a suprising amount of grip on the boardwalk.

I forgot my shoes so had to buy some from Nevis bikes – as we were chattng to the lady in the shop, we asked 'hows the new red run?' – the answer….

    'Black'!
