After our neighbours got burgled last night, I want to stick a bit of lighting in the garden.
Any recomendations for solar-powered security lights? Ideally, I want a "flood" light for under £30 with a 8-10m range on the PIR.

Solar powered floodlight? You’d need a big panel to provide the power in our point on the planet. I also dont see the point in security lights anymore, they just provide lighting for the burglars to do their thing easier – no-one takes any notice if your light comes on anyway!

I’ve got a little solar powered courtesy light on the front door – there’s so little day/sunlight during winter it just about manages to stay lit in time for you to get the key in the door!

coffeeking is right, it just gives burglars the light they need to go about their business. Maybe one with a buzzer might be more effective (though that’ll please the neighbours if it keeps going off….)
