  • So, what books did you get for Christmas?
  • I got three:

Brother in the Land – Robert Swindells

    Bodies – Jed Mercurio

And, State of Emergency – Dominic Sandbrook

I cracked open Brother in the Land about half an hour go and have blistered through 47 pages already. No pun intended ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

As a joke Mrs C. bought me “Cider with Rosie”. I did this in English Lit ‘O’ Level and hated it with a passion. Be interesting to see if I still feel the same about it.

I really enjoyed this, I was lucky enough to read it before Armstrong confessed, which made it all the more readable.

Takisawa2, any chance of a title or author as it sounds right up my street for a bit of armchair adventuring.
    Thanks

Read Boy Racer first to see the start of his career, then At Speed to get an update, some great reading, you cant put the things down, like theyre superglued to your hands.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year 23 from Mrs – to add to the previous 22 years editions. Tradition requires me to spend Boxing Day leafing thru it, with a large G’n’T to hand.
