It would have been quite ironic if the poor guy on the bike would have been splattered 50 yards up the road in front of plod because he had to go round it onto a pretty busy road (a616) into Huddersfield at Lockwood

I drive that way regularly and often see poor folks having to mount the pavement to avoid being hit

I’d never had noticed it was a camera van apart from the near miss.

There are guidelines. It seems that it is okay for these to be ignored.

Police are in many areas a partner with local authorities, NHS, etc, so not police per se

Because generating revenue from speeders is actually better than making the roads safer through increased driver training, better road engineering and more police on the road enforcing bad driving.  As we all know, so long as you don’t speed then you are a 100% safe driver.  If you do speed then you’re a potential killer and deserve to be fined to death 😉

Film them, send to road.cc, post on social media etc.
