I’ve ridden Snowdon & yeah it’s great but a little short.

We did the standard llanberis up, then Ranger & Telegraph down.

    I don’t fancy Rhyd Dhu.

So how about down the Snowdon Rangers & then carry up Foel Goch, over to Moel Eilio & then down ?

    Ooof.

That’s a lot of carrying and you miss out on Telegraph Valley.
    Bit steep too.

If you don’t mind a bit of road, head up the Fachwen on the other side of the valley to Dinorwic.
You could climb up toward Marchlyn Mawr then descend through the quarry.

A (very) steep carry up from Telegraph Pass onto Foel Goch, undulating and grassy with occasional steps and steep bits as far as Moel Eilio, probably a carry onto that summit then it’s long grassy descent on the N ridge to the track at Bwlch y Groes then down in to Llanberis.

I used to run that ridge a lot as an evening run when I lived in Llanberis.

    From the Snowdonia ranger
“Great to see you’re enjoying Snowdonia, however you may not be aware but there is no legal access for mountain biking on Moel Eilio. Moel Eilio is an area of open access land, legislation wise this only allows for walking/running/watching wildlife and climbing.”

I was a bit disappointed with the Telegraph myself.

    Hence the inquiry.

    Sorry Mr Ranger

I’m in agreement with Mr Ranger. How about including a loop over into the quarries on the other side of the valley?
