Just received some squad XL goggles from Sports Pursuits, i picked MTB goggles but the ones i have received have double glazed lenses and foam around the goggle edge, I’m a bit confused as to whether they are MTB or Ski ?
I can’t see to find a definite answer, some seem to state the mtb in ones have the anti fog lense which i assume is the DG one ?
But some reviews say the mtb ones don’t have the foam over the vents?
These are for an alps trip so i don’t want to sweat cobbs in them 🥵
    Cheers

snow would normally be double glazed and unvented. MTB would be vented (slots across the top) and single glazed – the anti fog bit comes via a lens coating.

also – pretty sure on that specific goggle, that the lens even says Squad XL MTB on it, and snow just says Squad XL

Foam is the only difference AFAIK (other than lens but they are interchangeable). Double lens will work but will scratch easier as its a different material. If they were cheap just rip the foam out, I know at least 1 person who bought the cheaper ski version and did that.

Cheers for the info guys, I’ve ordered some different ones which are defo MTB only a tenner more in the end, I’ll send the others back. I can’t see the DG lenses lasting in dusty conditions tbh
