  • Smelly wee season is upon us early!
  • An early crop New Forest asparagus, just arrived in the village grocers.

    All of teh NOMZ!

Tastes like weeds. Looks  like Groot’s wanger.

    I’m out.

I love asparagus, but ideally the white stuff my German grandma used to grow, not this sparrer graaas stuff.

I love the asparapish smell. Weird? Yup.

I assumed this thread was about some weird annual ritual involving Sugar Puffs.

You get white asparagus by covering up The emerging spears with soil/mulch like you do with leeks apparently.

I planted 18/20 crowns last year so looking forward to taking my first (half) cropping this year.

Smelly wee season is whenever my g/f decides she wants asparagus for dinner. Which can be any time.

What would our wee smell of if sugar puffs hadn’t been invented?
