Just put my tent up that's had an extended storage period and it stinks inside, it's a 'foisty' pong, any tips on cleaning it, mrs thinks bicarbonate of soda?

I did this recently and wrecked my groundsheet eventually by putting the whole lot in the washing machine (desperation). However I got rid of the smell (not the fungus) by dunking the white bit of the inner in a bucket full of oxy powder stuff, seems to have worked. Other option would be to set it up in the garden on a sunny summers day without the flysheet, the UV helps kill off the bacteria.

Leave it out in the sun kills the spores.

I put mine in the wash to clean it up & de-pong it. Just needed reproofing after that.
