When you realise how bright the moon is, turn your light off and you can see the trail/road in front. Riding your bike by moonlight, grin worthy.

Swimming in a lake, in the lake district in the middle of a hot day. Looking around at the mountains either side of the lake, getting the willys a little bit about what’s underneath you and is coming to chomp on your toe. Grab your goggles and duck down underwater near the bank, look up at the sunshine coming through the murky green. Swimming down with the little fishes to look for interesting pebbles.

The first day of the year when bikes outnumber cars on the commute and they just have to wait

When a prolonged fettling session actually achieves the desired outcome and avoids an expensive and humiliating trip to the bike shop. A rare and giddy high.

There’s an Oven cleaner called Oven Pride. Comes with a bag and you put everything in, and it just works…

I know, but clean oven, done NO work. Cool as ****!!

The small and simple things I love are…a cup of earl grey tea, a big poo and hugs… in that order. I’m pretty sure all 3 at once would be the most amazing thing ever but it would be so hard to top I can bring myself to do it.
