Looking to get a new chain tool for my commuter saddle pack. Any suggestions, longevity, ease of use etc.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

The topeak square one. Pretty compact but works as well as a workshop one. handle unscrews, too.

park ct5, and you can get replacement pins (not yet needed in my case)

also bear in mind kmc etc snap link chains

Better than most because it has a chain position adjuster that ensures the chain/pin are sat square. Ignore the negative comments on the site – they aren’t setting the adjuster right

^ I’ve got the same X-Tool one and it’s great, it pushes pins out of KMC chains with no bother and the handle unscrews to make it pack easier plus there’s a spare pin in the handle not that I’ve needed it

Park CT-5 here as well. Its the only one that I have. I can’t justify buying a larger one for home, I just dig the little Park one out of the Camelbak when I need it.

Topeak’s Ratchet Rocket (link) is my favourite multitool and includes a chain tool. Great bit of kit.
