Need an 11sp cassette. I’ve not tried Sunrace before. Any thoughts on likely longevity differences between an SLX or a Sunrace? I can get both for a very similar price.

I’ve ran a Sunrace the past two years, no issues apart from a slightly soft lock ring and better ratios than the Shimano alternative.

Sunrace are fine, have them on all my MTBs. As above, better ratios on the wide range cassettes than Shimano.

Just fit a Sunrace cassette and very happy with it. Can’t comment on durability but shifts are smooth.

Prefer my 11-46 sunrace cassette to the xt one it replaced.

I have run both over the last three+ years, Sunrace x2 then an SLX.

I would suggest that Sunrace is *slightly* clunkier shifting, lasts better and better ratio jumps.
SLX was cheaper last time, hence the jump on.

Used sunrace for a couple of years now, good spread and lasting well. I’ll get the same again
