That is rediculously cheap! – guess it'll be OEM kit perhaps?

It will be OEM kit which means no boxes or packaging but nothing more on those bits.

I thought it might be a typo, as they are selling the same groupset, without the wheels for the same price!

    I was very tempted to….luckily I've just broken myself…

Only downside is that the cassette is 11-34, which means I personally would have to try and sell it on the classifieds and buy the 11-36 instead.

Bought the 9 Speed SLX Groupo off them in June for about £350 it came in all the proper Shimano boxes.

    That’s cheap.

I’m more stunned that AS doesn’t think a 34t rear sprocket is enough. What sort of gradients are you riding, or have you ditched the granny?

Woody – Yes, planning on ditching the granny. Although I bet if I didn’t, I’d still use the 36 every-so-often 🙂

Normally, Shimano still think it will be popular because more riding can be done in the middle ring.

sometimes boxed sometimes not it just depends what they have in stock. The groupsets are not OEM but may be a grey import but normal guarantees apply. They were cagey over where they get them from on the grey market but I got the impression maddison and the big manufacturers are trying to find out how they do this and are not happy about the RRP being ignored.

I know exactly where the grey import stuff comes from

It will come in big containers from Amsterdam.

They will buy it through a European company (I won’t name) who buy unused stock from big companies (like kona etc) who no longer require the parts for builds.

    On-one do the same
