I’m having a nightmare trying to source a simple road chainring!

Got a SS road bike with a perfectly good White Industries square taper BB and some generic chainset which is now on it’s last legs. I’ve got a lovely set of Middleburn square taper cranks ready to go onto the existing BB.

But I can’t for the life of me find a simple 48T 130BCD singlespeed road ring! Come on mighty STW, what can you find me?

    Salsa/QBP/Dimension?

    I’ve had a couple of 104bcd 48Ts from Charlie. I’d give him a ring.

Have a look at some of the Thorne ones at SJS. Last for ever and also are reversable (as all are really!) as well.

Stronglight or TA from SJS or Spa, there’ll be a fair selection

Edit – I would guess Middleburn themselves do one as well

My mistake, they’re 144bcd. Plenty of 130bcd chainrings at velodromeshop though

Middleburns look great with a Surly stainless steel chainring. Available in your size.

And it’s a SSSSS chainring which should appeal to the SSer in you… 🙂
