    Evening all,

Looking at some sidi MTB shoes and their size guide differs from most. I normally take a 42 in northwave and 43 in specialised. My feet are normally 8 but wide so get 8.5’s. Sidi list 8.5 as a 44. Can anyone tell me how sidi shoes size in real terms?

Cant seem to find a local shop that stocks them.. Thanks.

I take 44 in Specialized and 44 in Sidi. Size 9 in standard English shoes. I don’t have any experience of Shimano of Northwave though, sorry.

I had to size up. 45 in shimano, 46 in sidi with narrow feet. If you are wide then look for the ‘ mega’ sizing as the come up narrow.

Like you I have wide feet, size 42 and usually go up a size to 43’s compensate. I just bought pair of Genius 5 Mega road shoes size 42. Got them today and they are spot on.

    Hopefully that helps.

    Bought from Sidi Cafe
    Prompt delivery too.

I had to go up a size although a half size might have done it (compared to shimano)

I take size 10 shoes, not had specialized but 45 sidi fit perfect.

I’ve found northwave shoes narrower than sidi’s – not by much, but noticeable

Did you go for same euro sizing in both makes?
