We have a shower very similar to the one below, but the thermostatic valve is about knackered. I can’t seem to find out which valve we need and valves on their own aren’t much cheaper than a whole new unit.

So the question is – if I got a new unit can I just undo the old one and attach the new one. Or is there re-balancing/calibration/bleeding stuff that needs to be done to get it to work with our combi boiler?

Should be a direct replacement but there may be a safety mix limit to be set.

No bleeding or funkiness anywhere else on the system though
