Those sandersons are nice. That grey primer is on the list of possible respray colours for this, whenever I get it done, along with poo brown, the apple green that Orange are using at the moment, and a dark metallic grey.
Right, my collection of cheap tat (fugly) hardtails:
If only I could include the FS to raise the (low) standard
Still thinking of swapping the frame for narrow tubed steel something
A 'play' bike. Frame bought with 72% off, most* bits were lying around going spare
*except grips and BB. Since bought new stem and bars
And yes, I know the colour scheme is far from pretty
Bought secondhand for commuting with steps/curbs in mind with 80psi narrow slicks. Now does occasional lighter/shorter offroad rides
Thinking of respraying, though don't know whether I'd be better off putting money toward a nice steel frame instead
Currently undergoing 'transformation' to 1×7. Can't decide whether to use a 7spd gripshifter lying about, or an 8spd trigger shifter and bodging it
H'mm that's quite a lot in about 10 years. Still have the DMR, Kilaueu and the Cove. Only thing I really shouldn't have sold was the Switchback. Had a lot of fun on that bike.
my GFs, built for under £350 8)
(she just asked me to put it in here…)
so (some of) mine are below…
my kula 29 rohloff race bike (i say race, i mean pootle around race courses 😐 )
my Io – REALLY wish i still had this – my biggest bike selling regret. cheap, cheerful and a right pieve of good old fun… 😥
my old soma juice – ugly as sin, but a great ride – again, sad to have got rid…
my old mint sauce inbred 29 – got me into 29ers, fab bike…
my marin pine mountain touring bike – first proper mtb, photo from touring around iceland on it – it was perfect. not 100% sure where it is now.
and finally (for the HTs – not inc the CX and FS)
my solitude in its original form
now has regular gears, double and bash, black finishing kit, lots and lots of scratches and some new manitou minute 120mm bolt thrus (and some beefier wheels)
i love it 😀
