seem a little under represented as a brand around these parts. anyone got one? they look nice but are they a little ‘gravel’ orientated for the UK? have they lost themselves from their A La Carte roots?

    just pondering really…

I love Salsa bikes, i’d happily have a garage full of them alone.

I have a Big Mama and Fargo and both of them are great bikes (i don’t know how to post up pics on here) and if my other 29ers (On One SS and Spesh HT) broke i’d replace them with Salsa as well.

I used to have a salsa el santo. Lovely looking bike but the sizing of salsa’s just doesn’t quite fit me.

But still fancy an el kaboing!

my casseroll is very similar! even down to the details like the front ortleib on the back and the not cut down steerer tube. hope to ride mine between london and bristol and back at easter. i have mudguard envy though, i bought black ones and realised my aesthetic mistake straightaway

Here’s my Roller – but actually I don’t really get on with it! Seems to ride really heavily compared to all my other steel bikes for some reason.

    From the top…

That’s a Selma 29er SS, Mamasita 29er, Ala Carte Ti, Ala Carte steel and RIP the Moto Rapido – although I think one of the boys at Ison is still riding around on it with a nice jubilee clip seat clamp.

Last year’s ala carte (last of the TT OX platinum).
Bought to build as a 1×9 rigid hardtail. Then “temporarily” put some big apples on it for some commuting as I thought it would be perfect for my pothole capital. Then I so fell in love with it that I just can’t get myself to slap some knobs on and get it dirty. Can’t do it… So I’m building myself a new hardtail now 🙂

Hmm, seems that I can’t upload an image from an ftp server which is all I can do now. So here’s a link from mtbr with my ala carte pics inside.
