Soon to be rid of the curly bars and to have some wide flat things bolted onto it.

Interesting how few of these have gears.

A (thankfully) quite rare Daewoo Genius AKA Sylvia Divinorman.. It’s actually quite a nice ride for a frame made by a car company

I built my Curtis up to be the polar opposite of my (slack, 1×9’d, wide bars, Reverb’d, big tyre’d gnar machine) Five. There was a time when I had a bouncer and a hardtail built up very similar and as a result, 99% of the time took the comfier, faster bouncer.

Having the Curtis makes trails interesting again after I might have got bored of them riding the Five.

Although I’ve got a 29er as well, there is something really aesthetically pleasing about a rigid 26er.

Really love the IF’s and the Kona’s.

    It’s a Hite Rite.
Basically a dropper post from the 80’s.

I must be getting old!!! 😳

Any issues with it? Looks simple and cheap, well cheaper than modern droppers

Well Joe Breeze uses a gravity dropper not a hiterite 🙂 I think mine was a knock-off to be fair, not entirely sure, but it was pretty much completely useless. Fiddly to use and didn’t reliably go back up to the right height (though, I think that was partly down to the seatpost/seattube being a bit rough)

    Clever idea though.

It used to sort of work with an alloy post. Now it just stops the Syncros carbon post getting nicked easily.

    My scruffy effort:

Made of my old Orange O2 and things found.

EDIT – Now why doesn’t that Flikr piccy work?
