    Raw finishes look brilliant and don’t seem to tire easily. If you use clear frame protection you can’t see it and that keeps it in even better condition. The only other finish as good is anodised I think.

    Raw bikes look exactly the same but without paint……..I’ve got two,I imagined what they’d look like without paint & then stripped it all off,Ezee innit………. 8)

    its a 2012 transition bottlerocket. raw was an option so i took it 🙂

    Hora, I hadn’t cleaned the bike for about 8months and it’s been ridden nearly every week so had started to look a bit dull. I buffed it up (spent no more than 2 mins) after a muddy ride on Sunday using brasso and it’s come up lovely.

    Oxnop I’m going to try your approach. If I don’t like that look I can always bump it off for a Champagne gold ano finish at a later date 8)
