    My pub bike in a pub;

    Brompton M3L. Red grips, Fizik Arione saddle just out of shot. Oh, and barrel aged BORIS Imperial Stout. Which was nice. 🙂

    Yours is a very grand pub bike!

    That was in my old local. Which was a VERY grand pub! 🙂

    It’s the perfect pub bike, though. Ride to pub, fold bike, put bike under table in pub. If too drunk to ride home, put bike in back of taxi!

    Not being used much now, but owes me a headset and bottom bracket. Friend donated frame, rest from the parts pile.
    Latest incarnation has a front disc brake, some old gusset pedals and is 1×9 , with a homespun chain device.

    This beauty. I imagine it visited a few pubs before it fell into my hands too.

    Do you mean the bike you ride to the pub & leave outside unlocked whilst you partake in a beer or two?

    busta, that is beautiful. In a different way the pegasus below it, obviously. But yours has patina. There is something about it which is a pure embodiment of what it is to be a bicycle.

    I hope it gets out a lot!

    nedrapier, thank you. I saw it in a local auction and paid the princely sum of £11 for it. Every part of it is *almost* completely worn out but it all still works, even the dynamo lights. I’d love to know it’s history. Somebody has kept it going on a shoestring for many years. And yes, I ride it most weeks.

    Pub is possibly closer than bike shed.
    Don’t drink, but do partake in the odd waddle back post Roast Lunch (+ dessert).

    This is the spiritual successor to my old shopper in liverpool. It was hammerite black with a big red box on the back, I could just bung shopping in the box no need for a bag, and it was so plug ugly that it was the only bike in the whole of merseyside that didn’t need locked.
    I realised that I missed it so built a modern version.
