Aargh. I’ve got a brand new karate monkey sat in the garage that I am dying to build up but instead I’m sat at the foot daughters bed because because she’s poorly 🙁

Rubbish photo….but loving the Horsethief…now running a CCDB air shock and bigger (and matching) tyres now…it’s all good! Oh, and just ordered some 140mm forks…should be fun.

But, will probably just go for a wheel swap to some TN719’s on red Pro2’s. They just look superb with green.

I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy two really, really good 29ers recently. I´m afraid that they are not very niche but they are not very mainstream either!

Mostly I have been riding the Commencal Meta 29er which is seriously fast and playful. I’ve put in over 60 days on this in the last few months and am really sad to give it back!

I have also had a test ride on this and will pick it up for a long term test this week. An Orbea Occam 29er which is going to be a lot of fun. Less travel and more racey than the Commencal but seriously stiff and precise with fantastic suspension. Looking forward to using and abusing it over the next few months.

I’ve been thinking of a Niner MCR or Cotic Solaris set up to be a bit more trailly to go with it but the Singular offer from Sam is very tempting…

I can’t get used to seeing 29ers with gears, and suspension after years of SS Rigiding.
But then again the only place I have taste is in my mouth, and with women obviously
